Winter is coming.....

I mean Winter by the Sea is coming..... I couldn't help but think of Game of Thrones when I started with "Winter is coming". It will be available at the Harvest Market Hop- the Fall Needlework show - the Facebook page gives the info you need.            https://www.facebook.com/Harvest-Market-Hop-Needlearts-Tradeshow-848096145281400/ I hope that you have enjoyed the by the Sea series, I saw that once Summer came out, a lot more of you were stitching it - like me you love to start in the top left hand corner!

I will also be releasing 2 other patterns at that time. Check it out Sept 8- 13th. Due to being in Europe teaching I will not be shipping till the 20th. This way I thought I could ship orders together.

So I am deep into getting all things ready to go to Fobbles - Cumbria, UK and then De Handwerk Boetiek - Roden, Holland for teaching. I always love these ladies and so look forward to sharing our passion for stitching and ideas and techniques. Between all that, I am just putting on the finishing touches for the Shepherd's Bush retreat in October and hope to get some of that done before I go.  It is very tight timing for me, I had to be super organized!!! I made lists like no tomorrow and was ever so excited to scratch things off those lists! But doesn't it seem like you complete some of the things on your list but there are always the few that seem to stay there and go from list to list.... I am on one of those today, Blogging! I do feel bad that I just don't get to this part enough, but the parts of doing all the things necessary for a pattern to come fruition and along with trying to make those by the Sea thread packs, had us scrambling in the office here. It was just as well it was a poor summer in Calgary as I had too much to do. To add to the mix my last event is in beautiful Stowe, VT for Celebration of Needlework - here is a link to the website-http://celebrationofnw.com/index.php. It promises to be a lovely ending to an exciting year.

The summer event at The Silver Needle was so much fun. We laughed and enjoyed good food and great company. Thank you everyone for coming - for making the event so special with some fun photos and enjoyable visits. From teaching there I flew to Kalispell and had a lovely week away with my family in the Flathead Valley. I've enjoyed spending time with my girls this summer, with the one we are making wedding plansand with the other a new job addition toher already busy life.

If you are in any of these places, I look forward to seeing you, and enjoying some time together. As usual I am working away on the next new thing, now it's Nashville stuff and the places I am teaching at next year. I have one proposal left to make and then we are on to filling spots in 2018 availability. Time flies!

I am sure I had more to tell you but shucks can't think of it and now of course the next thing on my list calls!! lol

Cheerio, fondly jeannette
