This next set of 3 samplers are JDD’s sampler adaptations on these antique pieces in my collection.  I hope that you enjoy the JDD full reproduction and the adaptations that were composed. As you know I love samplers but have never delved into reproducing them. This past year I finally had a good look at the samplers I own and decided that I could attempt this. 

This reproduction was stitched on 40 ct Vintage Meadow Rue by Lakeside Linens on this count the design size is 9 ½” x 12 ¼”. There are several adaptations to this sampler which are just as lovely. A pincushion and two small, framed pieces, they will be in colour on the back cover. They were all stitched in the Soie d’Alger silks, no thread pack was made. There is a DMC conversion in the chart.
