41 x 339 A little note on the title -Isle of Hope - Isle of Tears - Ellis Island. In doing research for this piece I came upon many interesting things but mostly I was charmed by the whole Immigration thing as my parents immigrated to Canada via Halifax Harbour, NS and traveled across the country by train to land in a very rural area of Alberta. When I was but 8 weeks old my parents moved to southern Ontario as my mom couldn't bear the very long cold winters on the prairies coming from a much milder climate. Enjoy stitching your little stack of blankets! This piece has an embellishment package available with all the silks, beads, and Bijoux needed to do the piece.
